Happy as Norm with his mallard on the 3-cent stamp. IOWA REVIEW took a story of mine, THE RAM AND CHARLIE PRUITT, for its Finalist list to judge Amelia Gray. Hoping next year for the First Class stamp for my even-toed ungulate (Ovis canadensis) and hapless Charlie--unless they find another literary garage.
